The Accountability Project consists of a group of citizens from Midland and Ector County that have come together to form a non-partisan, independent watchdog group whose sole mission is to investigate and expose corruption and abuse of power by local politicians and taxpayer-funded organizations.
We strive to hold our local government accountable for the decisions they make and the actions they take. We strongly believe our local leaders, and taxpayer-funded organizations should be more transparent with how our tax dollars are spent and should always make decisions that are in the best interests of the majority of the population.

Odessa City Leaders have gone unchecked for far too long. It seems that our current mayor and some city council members have forgotten that they work for the citizens and were elected to make decisions that are beneficial to the people, not themselves.
The citizens of Odessa and Ector County are fed up with the continual issuance of debt against their wishes, the back door deals, and the outright refusal of transparency.
Enough is enough. The time for holding our leaders accountable has come.
