CITY OF ODESSA COST TAXPAYERS $60,000 WITH THE METER STILL RUNNING
People need information to watch over their government. Watching over our elected officials keeps us informed and helps keep them honest and transparent about the decision they make on behalf of the taxpayers. Mayor David Turner and City of Odessa have spent a whopping $60,000 taxpayer money with another $30,000 in expected fees to control and censor what information the news media gets. Our taxes have gone up, people are suffering, and they are spending hard earned money on a lawsuit with the Odessa American. Laws are in place to ensure the free flow of public information to the citizens and should be followed. The public has the right to seek and obtain government information and should be able to do so without the runaround. David and Dewey, MOVE ON!!
