Odessa can’t stand another eight years of DUMB decisions and DUMB spending. Now is the time to vote our current city leaders out of office and replace them with a common sense City Council who will make smart decisions!
DUMB – David AND Dewey voted to spend 12 MILLION DOLLARS to refurbish the Ector Theater and leased it to their buddies for ONE DOLLAR PER YEAR FOR 30 YEARS!
DUMB – David AND Dewey squandered record-setting tax collections on questionable projects leaving our roads, water lines, and police and fire protection poorly maintained and in jeopardy.
DUMB – David AND Dewey recently voted to raise both property taxes and the utility rates on Odessans at a time when our economy and our families are hurting.
Now, David & Dewey want to swap places and get around our city’s terms limits. Do we really want Dewey to be our City’s leader?

They have led our city into record-setting tax increases
They have led our city into numerous lawsuits
They have led a dysfunctional city council that threatened to break into fist-fights
They have led our city to cover-up of sexual misconduct among city staff
They have led our city to stiff-arm any request from our local media for public information
It’s time for David & Dewey to go! Over the past eight years they’ve had plenty of opportunity to help our city and to provide the leadership we’ve desperately needed. Now, they just want to trade places and keep their failing policies going for years more with programs that hurt Odessa while benefiting their buddies. Odessa needs a new city leadership. Let’s all show David & Dewey that Odessans are way too smart to let them fail us for another term.
